This 183-day solargraph was made on the roof of The Weather Network building in Oakville, Ontario, spanning the summer to winter solstice of 2023. The long-exposure technique reveals colourful sun trails that document the sun's path across the sky over half a year. The solargraphic image was created as part of The Weather Network's 'Out Of This World' special feature on solargraphy, done in collaboration with meteorologist and science writer Scott Sutherland. Watch the accompanying video for for more insights into this unique process.

On the Summer Solstice of 2023, I planted three solargraph cameras on the rooftop of The Weather Network building as part of a collaboration with meteorologist Scott Sutherland. This project captured the path of the sun over the following 183 days, documenting the journey from summer to winter solstice.
